Tabata training is a type of HIIT (Hight Intensity Interval Training) that was created by Dr. Izumi Tabata and team of researchers from the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Tokyo. They found that you can get extraordinary results in a very short amount of time* by grouping each exercise into 4 minute blocks with intervals of very high intensity effort.
At Women’s Fitness we combined Tabata training with abdominal exercises to create our Tabata + Abs class to help you get fitter, faster while also strengthen your core and flattening your stomach*.
